Re: 1982 CB450t budget build - Misfire, why???
Well a buddy helped me drag the bike out of the basement and into the daylight. Got it up and running on Sunday with the POS mufflers that were on the bike when I bought it. I need to get some new mufflers, maybe some shortys or sportster...
Re: 1982 CB450t budget build - Shorty mufflers???
Also the exhaust on there now came from the previous owner, its a chopped and welded back together KZ440 muffler. Thinking about getting the 12" Shorty mufflers from DCC, they seem to be the least expensive pipe I can find. Anyone have any...

Got the chain back on. Cleaned up the headers and threw those back on as well. Cleaned the carburetor and semi-polished the covers and float bowls then reassembled and put back on the bike. I guess it would be more accurate to say that I wrestled it back into the bike, what...
Quick updates:
Installed the rocker arm assembly and got the motor in the engine.
Got the covers on as well.
Also got the front forks squared away...

Hoping to buy the proper rebuild...

Wouldn't have had a chance today anyway as I spent the day at Brit Jam, motorcycle show in Connecticut put on...
The manual calls for using liquid sealant on the bottom of the rocker arm setup where it mates with the cylinder head, any recommendations on what type of liquid sealant to use???
Started putting the engine back together...
Valves lapped and installed
Pistons on
Cylinders and timing chain tensioner installed, was good to have an extra set of hands to help with the reassembly.
Cylinder head on and camshaft in
