    '82 CB450T part-out!

Looking to part out my 1982 CB450T. Bike was running, registered, insured and inspected here in MA in 2011. I intended on building it/completing the restoration. This project has taken a back seat and must get out of my cellar as I am moving soon. Everything is for sale! Lots of brand new parts...

Odd brake caliper off 1981 CB750K

That caliper came off a CB/CM400cc of the same vintage. It's absolutely terrible. Get the dual piston one from the 1982 bikes.

    81 CM400 minor cafe build

11psi add or take 3psi if you'd like. The floats in these carbs are also non-adjustable. Are you using a fuel filter? Mine would stick open quite a bit until I began running a fuel filter. After that I haven't had a problem since. You'll need a 90 degree type fuel filter for this bike. I'm...

For all y'all's wives and lady friends!

Wow they did a REALLY good job with the seat. It's not easy to make a seat look good on those bikes. I'd love to know how he/she did it.

    CV carbs and pod filters

This is my understanding too. I'm interested in this greatly as I want to ditch the box on my '82 Hawk for aesthetic reasons too. I'll have to make the Keihin CV carbs work for a while until I can afford Mikunis. This seems like a solid temporary solution.

    My cb400T build "Kay"

I like that seat a lot. That's one of those ones you can find on eBay, right? Also concerning the exhaust, did you remove the crossover/collector part and just bolt the mufflers to the stock headers? Or did you make/buy new headers? I ride an '82 CB450T myself, I'll be following this thread...

    Let's see your pickup trucks

My slab. First cage I bought on my own. Damn shame I nuked third gear within 15 minutes of ownership being an over-excited 19 year old. Anyone have a transmission? Haha.

    188mpg Yamaha 125cc concept bike

That doesn't look like a regular ole beach cruiser frame. I agree, we need more smaller bikes. This would be great around town.

    New kid from MA

I've been lurking here and decided joining up would be better. Lots of good stuff to read and look at around here. Here's my project for the winter. $600 special 1982 Honda Hawk. I've got a vision for it, funding it is going to be the hard part as always. Turns out even if your 29 year old...
