looks great so far! the CM's aren't exactly the ideal medium for this type of build but with a little creativity, they can turn out pretty damn nice. logged over 15k miles on mine since my build. Just keep at it and ask lots of questions. i knew nothing when i started and now have 2 beautiful...
ok... that does make some sense. the other thing i just remembered is the needle started bouncing around like crazy for a minute or so before it totally went. jumping back and forth from around 80 to 120

so i picked up a mini speedo and tach from a company i wont name(dont wanna give them a bad name). here's the issue....
after 20 miles, the zero position moved. sitting still the bike said i was moving 50mph.

Headlight and fork ears were junk, and already pitched them, but i do have the linkage. are you just looking for the rod that runs from the pedal to the drum? or the whole thing? i would think it should fit up but i'd need more info.i'd suggest finding a site like www.cheapcycleparts.com and...
yeah, thats the stock tank... only thing i did to it other than paint was lop off the bottom ears where the side covers used to snap in.
as far as making more rearsets, its a possibility, but we're pretty slammed at work right now so squeezing them in may be a bit tricky...

i like yellow, but actually wanted blue and white. unfortunately all my gear is black and yellow and i'm too cheap to replace a jacket and helmet that are still in great condition.... ;)
