very cool.
I love the stripe on the wheels, as well as the paint job on the tank.
the only thing I don't like is the breather sticking out of the side of the tail. Would it be possible to relocate to underneath the rear plastics?
any progress/updates on the build? how's she running?
mine ended up taking a dump, something's wrong with the carb and I lost my garage. it's just sitting now.
110 main is definitely the stock jet for this bike.
It does not have a pilot jet, just a pilot (fuel) screw. This is a 78 cb125s.
Check out the diagram
Needle is currently at highest clip, was at 2nd from top but it's at top now.
I'll put the airbox boot on and see if that makes a diff...
yeah, air fuel screw. I know it's wrong but it's the only way I can get it running right lol.
This carb only has 1 jet. Main is 110 (stock) and I'm running stock exhaust and open carb at the moment. (carb comes off too often to worry about hookin up the air box)
If the carb is open, that...
rotella is good, used it in my 500 ninja. i used valvoline motorcycle specific oil in my cb125 but that's just because it was fairly cheap and i only needed 1 quart.
Well I found out the reason my cb125s was fouling plugs so bad. There is supposed to be a spring and an 0-ring installed with the pilot screw! they weren't there when I got the bike, but I've installed some since.
I also lowered the float height a little more.
Pilot screw is still all the...
this carb doesn't bolt onto the head, there's a rubber boot bolted to the head and the carb clamps into it. I'll check all of that but I'm pretty certain that it's all tight.
I feel like with no air cleaner and no muffler, the stock jet should be LEANER than it should be, if anything. This is...
1978 cb125s 1cyl
New pilot screw, main jet, floats, needle valve, spark plug, coil. Plug gap and points gap are set. Float level should be set right, but I've never done it before so it may not be right?
whats a plug chop? when the plug is CLEAN it starts on the first kick. Idles shitty for...
Ever since i unplugged the hole in my main jet she's been running holy cow rich. i've tried lowering the float to the point that there was no gas in the carb at all, no change. I tried tightening the pilot screw all the way in, no change. Did I "open up" the jet when I unplugged it with a...
needle pos and jets are stock. I will dbl check floats, maybe it's still too high.
It is running rich for sure though. wish me luck with fixing the float
So a little while ago, I had her idling great and running well up to 1/8 throttle, when it fell on its face.
Found out that the hole at the bottom of the main jet was clogged. (I didn't know there was supposed to be a hole lol) i opened up the hole and put the carb back together.
Now it...
i finally got it to work at WOT, and man it sure is fun to wind it out. clutch even slips when i power shift lol
now it runs like piss at partial throttle haha, fix one problem and another comes along
my cb125s has the same front brake as your 200... same issue. It would move but lock up whenever I tried to actually install and use the front brake. Right now I don't have a front brake at all...
