I see you're not running any linkage system with that shock? Are you sure it will have sufficient stiffness in this way? I'm also building a monoshock with an R1 shock, but an upright position like the one you're using here was complete useless. Sat down on it and immediately dropped 4 inches...

Turns out the shock doesn't really work out this way, gotta figure something else out. It's way to soft now.. Probably gonna make it stand more horizontal.

I like your idea of building a cafe from a rebel. I'm currently doing something like that myself, although it might become a tracker or something. Still not sure. But that heap of space you've got now between the seat and the original frame looks ridiculous.. I'm not sure a cover of some sorts...
