No oil going to the rocker spindels

I pulled the head off and lifted the barrel just enough to see the oil gallery that feeds the rockers. I spun it over on the electric start, no oil coming up the oil hole what soever. So it looks like a strip down to see what has happened to the pump. Jimmy.

No oil going to the rocker spindels

Hi Guys. I have no oil going to the rockers spindles. I was out for a run on my 150cc ace. When I got back the engine stopped and refused to start again. I removed the rocker cover and found the inlet rocker completely seized. I then removed the head and barrel and checked the oil hole feed to...

    Ace race replica complete

Hi Herbert. I bought the faring from BB Plastics. it was supposed to be for a 125 Honda, but I had to do a bit of fettling to get it to fit. Yes that is a Nr. Ireland number plate. I don't have any lights whatsoever on the bike not even a brake light or reflector. It is on a daylight MOT, and...

    Ace race replica complete

Chopping the caliper brackets off and Painting the forks was the easy bit. I bought the wheel brand new from EBay complete built with drum, shoes and spindle. I then had to find the right brake and speedo cables to fit it. I had to weld an alloy block onto the right fork leg to act as a brake...

    Ace race replica complete

Hi Herbert. Many thanks. I bought the fairing from BB Plastics in England. It was advertised to fit a 125 Honda. But it was too small and I had to fettle it to ft. I have my clip ons as high as I can get them. Where did you get your fairing from? Your bike looks class. Yes that is a Nr...

    Ace race replica complete

I have finally completed my replication of a 1960's Honda race bike. I have only done a 144 kilometres on it since I bought it new in June of this year. The biggest challenge was converting the disc brake to drum. Also getting the fairing to fit. Jimmy.

Hi Luugo. I got the wheel brand new complete, already built with hub, brake shoes and wheel spindle from EBay. To the door for £89. the wheel is for a Honda CG 125, which is basically what the Ace is. I had to cut the two brackets off the right hand fork leg which hold the caliper on, then get...

What mods have you done to the engine Crazy? Like the Hailwood rep Yorkie. I got Mike's Autograph 2 weeks before he was killed. He opened the Kings Hall Motorcycle Show here in Belfast. Jimmy
