DECEMBER 2009 BIKE OF THE MONTH - VOTE HERE!

Re: DECEMBER BIKE OF THE MONTH - VOTE HERE! I can tell you I have seen the Orange Motofiaccone bike in person, and it is very nicely done with great attention to detail in every mechanical aspect - and the paint is remarkable... That's got my vote - very nice choices across the board here...

Wow - Nice work Kit - really a cool look - well done! The 76 reminds me of the "spirit of '76" gas stations... not sure if they're around anymore, but it was a big orange gumball just like that - it does give it a cool vintage feel.

    Sam's CM400C Transformation

Thanks! Progress has been slow since the wheels went on, I am working on the rear fender mount, signal mounts, and finishing the electrical box. Should have some more pics soon. The seat foam was the stock foam, and I trimmed it down quite a bit with a 3 inch razor blade that is typically...

Super-nice as expected man... I think you - like me, will have more in the beautiful hardware than in the original purchase price! This is really looking awesome man, and that hardware goes a long way in giving it a modern look. Looking forward to seeing it in person! ;)

I think I'm gonna have you tig it... it is just tacked in place at the moment, and I agree it does look better than the other mount I had planned on! Probably bring that over with the engine covers when the time is right, and you can do it up right... My mig welding has improved, but only...

It's an aftermarket "bates style" like - ver close in size and shape to a Dyna light for sure - it is just a good size and shape for that old school chopper look... I am going for a retro look, and yes, I do love the bling... the more chrome the better - I prefer polished aluminum to chrome...

Nice work so far! I like that swingarm with the holes cut and sleeved, and the way you did the tail section with flat stock... Very nice looking fab work. As for color - I agree with the guy that said the mechanics speak for the bike - if it were mine, it would be orange with a black stripe...

    Sam's CM400C Transformation

Ok - so mostly I messed around with stuff like the guages and what not - probably avoidance behavior... I got a few things done though, and have a little ways to go before I am done with Mockup and will start on that greeezy motor... I decided to mount my headlight, and started by cutting off...
