    Actually, all I did was cut the rear section even with the end of the original size of the seat then trimmed the seat to accept the stock rear tail section to meet up with the end of the trimmed frame. I did slightly re-shape the rear of the seat foam to meet up with the tail piece better. So...

    Unfortunately, an entrapped nerve in my elbow forbids bars any lower than the Daytona's I have on there now. Can't even use Superbike bars, I tried. Too much pressure on the right hand makes it go numb and tingly ::). Tank is original...including the pre-existing dent.

    Thanks! I tired to re-use the stock parts as much as possible. I wanted it to still look kinda stock but a bit "tougher". Kind of a pseudo fighter if you will.....heck I don't know :-\

    Ah, another '77 GS750 owner. Love mine and looks like your enjoying yours as well. Just don't do anything to the bike straying from 100% original and post it on GSResources....they seem to be purists over there and don't take kindly to "modified" vintage GS's.
