i have one in NZ if you get stuck, off a spare motor...

so my carbs have arrived all sweet and well.... my brother in law runs these on his xt500 with some a home made alloy intake/ rubber hose mount... If these are clamped up tight to my kz440 intake boots, whats the chances of air getting in?? could even use a gasket seal for the groove in existing...

well, fuck i didn't even think about the difference in lip of the carbs.. anyone know of a specific universal boot for the vm32 that will work on the kz440... i just thought that a stock boot would do the job... looks like i mkight be well wrong...

I've got a 82 kz440 and just bought new set of vm32's for it, my boots are shot and rather than epoxy up i'm keen to buy new ones but cannot find new ones anywhere... there was a dude on ebay that had them but is fresh out.. anyone know of where i can source some?? thanks in advance....

Righto, this will sound dumb as fuck, but i am at a loss. I have bought a bates 4 1/2 inch headlight (assumed would be low/high beam), but arrived and it's not... Thought simple enough can just get new bulb, add wires etc... Seems so far as not the case, been to a couple of local shops...

Mixture screw is turned out 1 and a half turns. Carbs aren't synced/ balanced properly, have tried but not sure if i have right...... That still needs doing... Would these alone make it foul up? Thanks again, will check Treks mod too...

Was reading someone elses post about running stacks. They suggest running bigger secondaries. wouldn't that mean if its runnig rich now at 108's putting in say a 115 would be overfueling it massively.... Fuck, so confused... been riding to work and cleaning plugs on the way at least 2-3...

Pj sending you an email re jets as I sorted, been away from computer for a while... So i still have a problem. My bike seems to be running rich. Floats are at 21mm, have tried jets of 110, now 108. Plugs still fouling and getting dirty (dry). I have replaced points etc, set timing, replaced...

Anyone got a link to a good online stores for jets?? Weird question maybe but here in NZ the local here want $30 for 2... hey cant e worth that much?? Cant find the specific ones on ebay so any help would be great!

Righto, so Pj i hope your out there :) So bike has/ had been running sweet for awhile, the other day when i went to ride home bike wouldn't start. Eventually got it home, running on one, thought might have been one of the carbs that I didn't use gasket sealer on when rejetting. So pulled carbs...

Finally got round to it, the weather here has been soooo shit recently.. Pj your a legend, put in 110's, set floats to 21mm and boom, no crackle, back fire etc. runs noticable better and stronger. Thanks for your help!

picked up the bike the other day.... is running better, stacks made... I dont think that it was re jetted at all, just the stacks added. Pj, would the above info for jets etc still be the same for these? It was starting to want to dye when slowing to a stop, this would mean to rich?? not sure...
