** PICS OF MEMBERS RIDES ** - Official Before & After Thread

Fellow Builders, I certainly appreciate all the good vibes ! I don't currently have a U Tube of the Kz 650 running, but that Vance & Hines 4 into 1 is period and the bike pulls very well.

This 1978 Kawasaki Kz 650 took a little longer to complete than I had planned. The garage didn't warm back up until March, then the humidity, or temp was to high to paint. Then end result turned out pretty well and the project kept me out of the bars. BEFORE DURING AFTER

    1978 SR500

I owned one in the 80"s and let it get away. Your craft is on par with Custom House Stinky in Japan and you have built one beautiful SR. Good Work !

My name is Mooneyes, I am a relatively new member. I recently found a low mile 1978 Kawi KZ 650 B. Been chipping away at this mild custom build for about seven weeks.

    Remove KZ400 side covers?

If you have the time, you can replace the seat with a fiberglass hump type. You then move all electrics and the battery (Shoeri Lithium / Iron phosphate). This will open up the triangle. If you go whole hog, use a die grinder to remove the brackets left behind, smooth the welds with a Dremel and...

Kawasaki KZ 440 ltd cafe attempt

Slikshues, I spoke to your mentor and he says he thinks the build is coming along nicely. It looks like you successfully solved the "LTD" frame drop problem. Good project !
