    Not sure you need new tire with alloy rims you may have tubless tires. if that's that case probably just need valve stem. At the most it's a tube you need to replace.

I have a yamaha 73 tx650 and I run a round terminal end connector to the inside of headlight bucket and put it on the shaft before you put on the nut to hold the turn to the bucket. soder a wire to this and ground to the harness just piggyback on another ground...
