What are the options for wide spoke wheels?

Thank you Tim. That is exactly what I'm trying to figure out what, if any, stock (so I can find used and keep cost down hopefully) spoke wheels are out there that those tires will fit.

What are the options for wide spoke wheels?

You know I have to say there are some really unpleasant damn people here. I ignored xb33bsa's comment completely as it was not informative nor helpful at all, and same for yours. I'm not a troll, and if you noticed I noticed and took the helpful posters advice, but my question was worded in...

What are the options for wide spoke wheels?

Well a common tire size I like that is on modern bike is 120/70/17 for the front and 180/55/17 for the rear. Any bikes you know that have spoke wheels that can accept that size safely, or will I have to buy aftermarket and if so where?

What are the options for wide spoke wheels?

Thank you for the input guys. I definitely don't want to do an unsafe situation. I'm in the auto collision field so I know how to do body work, welding, painting, and so on, but mechanical stuff I've learned through the trade and especially with motorcycles is all on my own experience and from...

What are the options for wide spoke wheels?

What are the options for spoke wheels out there? Factory sizes from different models and if so what are they, and just buying brand new from some company if they exist? Interested in a wider rear wheel for example, but don't want to put on a wider than original tire to make it unsafe plus...

At home tire changer and balancing?

Does anyone change their own tires and balance them? All correctly and safe... Only thing I've seen is a motorcycle tire changer and balancer at Harbor Freight. Have a feeling that isn't adequate. Prefer not to keep paying a shop to do said work as the equipment will pay for itself on my own.

Sources for building seats from scratch?

Looking to find a nice quality source for seat base materials (foams/gel/etc.) and materials to wrap the seat either genuine leather or high quality vinyls. I know I can source metal for the base frame from local metal supplies. Thank you

What are some custom gauge options?

One of my projects doesn't have a gauge at all, and the other is one has the stock gauge that is just outdated and bulky. What are some custom gauge options that people have created? Need at the minimum odometer reading, and speed, anything else is bonus if it can fit in one gauge as I do not...

What are the legal rules on swapping engines?

Illinois title's the frame. I'm still just worried if I get pulled over, and have a 600cc engine in what was originally a 350cc frame originally. Same with insurance in the unfortunate event of an accident.

What are the legal rules on swapping engines?

I know this will vary state by state greatly, but can't even find federal rules none the less for my state (Illinois). Are you allowed to swap engines on motorcycles legally? I know cars you have basically of the same year or newer, and same "class" (can't legally go putting a truck engine say...

    Learning to pinstripe worth it?

Do you think this "art" is going away and people rarely learning to pay for it/want it, or actually worth learning? If so can anyone suggest any basic online videos to get started? I work in an auto collision repair shop so I have access to a lot of waste paint to practice if it is worth it...

May have giant paper weights..title issues in Illinois

Back story. I bought a 1972 Honda CB350 about two months ago. Then about a month ago I found a guy on Craigslist who was selling two Honda CB350's (1970 & 1971) extremely cheap with a TON of parts. Enough parts to build one bike for sure, and almost enough to build the second. One bike...

    Switching scenes and new!

Just saying hi. Been looking at the forum on and off for a bit as about 2 months ago I bought a 1972 Honda CB350. I used to be into street bikes and hang out with the "stunt scene", but need a new scene for many reasons so I'm getting into this style. Haven't been able to start on my project...
