    CB360 Exhaust Headers

Where is the best place to get new exhaust headers for a Cb360. Not the mufflers, but the pipes.

    CB360 Tuning

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm pretty sure what is happening is the draw from the engine is making the fuel level too low in the fuel bowl as the float needs to drop lower to open the needle more to flow more. It has strong flow from the petcock on both outlets.

    CB360 Tuning

I'm finally getting somewhat fed up with the way my carbs are tuned on the 360. I know they wont be great without the stock air boxes but I'm sure I can get it to sputter significantly less at low throttle. It bucks and sputters pretty hard just off idle to about 1/8 throttle. I have a 110 main...

    CB750 Exhaust Studs

Picked up a '71 I am starting to get back on the road. I wanted to install studs for the exhaust flanges rather than using the bolts that were in the exhaust. It looks like the bolts are 8mm. Anyone know what the thread pitch or length would need to be? Or is there a kit somewhere I can just...

    CB 360 Carb Rebuild

Thanks for the feedback, Ya you do have to be a little careful with the torch cleaners but I have never had a problem by using a cleaner 1 or 2 sizes smaller than the hole so your not filing out the edges of the hole. I think I noted something about being cautious with the cleaners, but I'll...

    CB 360 Carb Rebuild

After going through a lot of trouble with my CB 360 carbs trying to get them to run right I wrote a rebuild guide for these carbs. Just wanted to throw it out there in case anyone else wants something to reference with a few more pictures than the manual...

    CB 360 Bar Options

Mounted up the CB400f bars and they are pretty comfortable. Only things to note about fitment are the knurled sections for the clamps are about .5in wider than the CB360 clamps and the stock master cylinder will interfere with the gauges, even when the snout is shortened like mine. I ended up...

    CB 360 Jets

Whats typically the rule of thumb for jetting? More restrictive exhaust would need leaner jets since the engine cant flow as well?

    CB 360 Jets

Thanks, I ordered the aftermarket jets and after playing with it 110 seems to be the best. The aftermarket secondaries appear to be pretty much identical so no complaints.

    CB360 Jetting

I dropped the 110s in and set the float to 19.5mm and it's pretty happy. Smooth from 3.5k to 9k and a little rich between idle and 3.5k but not too bad. Think that's the combo that my current setup likes.

    CB 360 Acceleration Trouble

Pressed all the brass out of the carburetor and finally found the problem! It was the emulsifier tube on the primary main. The right side was all gummed up. I didn't realize there were two emulsifier circuits. Still runs a little funky but I'm still working on jetting and understand it will...

    CB 360 Jets

Not sure the number, they are stock carbs. These must have been rebuilt because they had 100s in them. I ordered some jets and have been doing to some plug chops to see what it likes.

    CB360 Jetting

Running pods with 112 secondary mains. Idles great, is ok off the line with some sputtering like its rich, and then takes off and sputters around 5k and then pulls better after 6. Plug chop looks about the same at 5k and 9k as pictured below. I'm thinking drop to 110's and call it a day?

    CB 360 Jets

Anybody use these jets. They look the same and I know Rocky Mountain has served me well for my KX. They say they are aftermarket so I didn't know if there were any small details that would cause problems. Hell of a lot cheaper than buying a kit when I only need 110 or 112...

    CB 360 Acceleration Trouble

I did clean those before but I forgot about them this last round so I'll check them. They are te jbm diaphrams. I think it is something related to that right carb or cylinder though as I have swapped all the internals between left and rights carbs and the left always runs well and the rights...
