2013 KLR! My boss sold me a 2013 KLR w 1200 miles on it for $3000. His kid didn’t want it...lucky for me!! I ordered some crash bars, low profile drain plug, and a better skid plate, next I’m getting rid of the stock pegs, windshield and exhaust. This thing is pretty fun!

Yeah the clamps are aluminum and lately I’ve been just leaving everything I polish raw. The dude I take my chrome bits to talked me into leaving it raw and then giving it a quick rub down with xtreem metal polish once in a while.

This is where I’m at today. I was able to get the rear hub polished and laced up. Now I have have two wheels that need trued. My friend Larry is going to teach me how to do that. I’m excited to learn another aspect of bike building that I won’t have to pay someone else to do.
