CM185t Twinstar - Is it a swan yet?

Chris - have you run the bike with the pod filter? I considered it, but my bike came with a cheapo aftermarket carb, which will complicate the re-jet. What did your rear shocks come from? Looks like they might be a bit stiffer and taller than stock, which could be nice for these bikes. After I...

CM185t Twinstar - Is it a swan yet?

It's been a while, but I've gotten a lot of work done. I installed new rim strips, tubes and tires - Installed new Oury grips, which I also use on my bicycles - Replaced the original, bulky stop/tail light - With a smaller trailer stop/tail light. Cut out a new metal plate to fit it to...

Re: CM185t Twinstar - The Ugly Duckling. It's not a project name, as much as a current status.

CM185t Twinstar - Is it a swan yet?

Re: CM185t Twinstar - The Ugly Duckling. True that, Steaksauce. Kind of shocking what a difference 5/8" makes.

    New member in Minnesota.

Hi, all. New member in Minnesota, here. Nate G. I've rented a workshop with a few forum members for a couple of years. I've cast a few votes for BOTM, but now that I'm posting some content, I figured an introduction was in order. I've been fiddling with a basket case Yamaha RT360 for a while, I...

CM185t Twinstar - Is it a swan yet?

Greetings, all. This month, I picked up a Honda CM185t. Sold as a "Great running bike" It was a windy 10 degrees F when I picked it up. It was stored outside, battery had been removed for Winter, and I wasn't going to try to start it. With a little good faith, and a lot more signatures on a bill...

JUNE 2013 - DO THE TON BIKE OF THE MONTH - NOMINATIONS

Definitely have to second the nomination of Swan's BSA Gold Star. I'm lucky enough to regularly see it in person... Moving or not, it's the kind of bike that just makes you stare.

    Ba ha ha

I was recently up at the Mall Of America, laughing to myself about the Harley clothes shop... Reminds me of the Friends episode - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJrkTHG29gU

Renting the same workshop as Swan, I've had the privilege to watch this build (and plenty more of his work) very closely. Whoever buys this bike is in for a real treat. Top Gear fans will know what I mean, when I say that the sound of that 4 into 1 exhaust with the repacked Dunstall style...

    Cycle-X, WTF????

The first two mistakes were bad... This last one has to feel like a slap in the face. When you get in touch with the company, I'd send them a link to your CB750, CB400f, and Goldie threads. Once they count up the thread views, they might work hard to make you happy again.
