    Yeah, that's pretty excruciating. Not sure I learned too much from that video. I guess the moral of the story is to just do what I thought all along...take it off and hope I can get everything back on without engine removal.

    I started a topic a couple of days ago about the oil starvation issue that I had with my CB350. Solved that problem after I found that the spring wasn't behind the oil guide in the oil filter cover. Unfortunately, now I have a bad oil leak on the right hand side where the points/cam block...

    1972 CB350 Oil Starvation to Head

    No. After my last post, I inspected the oil filter cover and found that the spring for the oil guide wasn't even there, so it was permanently closed. I suspect that is my whole problem. Ordered some new parts, but they won't be here for a few days.

    I purchased a 1972 CB350 for my wife last year. Did a mild cafe restoration to it, but then seized the head mid-summer. Now I'm looking for some help in the Engine Forum about an oil starvation issue. Really want to get this thing back on the road. Looking forward to being part of this site...
