    900RR Rotors On CB Hubs

The 76 750's , 550's, and the GL1000 all used the same front hub, Honda part # 3865316-001. The easiest way to make the change is using a complete GL1000 frontend. Look at dgfischer's posts in this thread. He's done quite a few of these swaps.

    900RR Rotors On CB Hubs

That is the factory 76 CB750F hub and sprocket carrier, 5.5" rim and 180 tire. Stock 750 rear sprocket no offset ,and a stock 900F front sprocket. Everything is centered and straight with about 1/4" clearence where the chain runs next to the tire. Here is the rear brake adapter with...

    Flush Mount Fuel Cap

I'm not going to use the original ignition switch , just a kill switch. I used the fitting from the CBR tank but I'm using an aftermarket fuel cap and base so I don't need any keys. My welding skills were not up to welding the sheetmetal on the tank so I covered the welds with bondo.

To Disc or Not to Disc...that is my question!

Thats a very good point. My stock wheels were alot heavier then the spoked wheels I have now and the 900RR rotors are about half the weight of the rotors that were stock on the bike so I have actually reduced the wheel weight. I went to a wider tire so I still expect it to steer a little...

    900RR Rotors On CB Hubs

I don't , that photobucket album is the closest thing to it. The newest pics are always on the first page and I add to it about once a week. I have been close to finishing a few times and then make some change that requires alot of rework. The fuel tank should be the last major change...

To Disc or Not to Disc...that is my question!

I think the 900RR rotors bolted directly to the 450 hub would probably be to narrow. You would end up making spacers to move the rotors out because the offset on the older CB brake rotors is more then the RR disc. There is good info the SOHC4 forum about putting dual discs on the CB hubs also...

    900RR Rotors On CB Hubs

Nice Job! It looks like the GL forks are good way to go for dual disks. I still haven't recieved the new rotor for my rear brake it should be here today or tommorow. I think it should be easy to fit the KX rotor on the F hub the hole pattern and spacing are very close. I made a spacer to...

    Flush Mount Fuel Cap

I installed a flush mount cap in my tank this weekend . I used a junkyard CBR 600 tank for the parts I needed. I still have to weld it up.

    900RR Rotors On CB Hubs

The hubs I used on my bike are from a 76 750F. I wanted to have a disc brake on the back and dual discs in the front. When I was searching for front rotors I found out that the 900RR rotors and the stock 750 rotors had some dimensions that were close enough to make it a pretty easy swap...

    Universal Rearsets and XS650 sets

I bought my rearsets from a guy on eBay then stumbled across his website after I bought them looking for 400F parts. The rearsets I got are beautiful. I plan on buying another set for the next bike I build. http://www.ttr400.com/index.html
