Well what a nightmare......I finally got them out, there wasn't enough of a lip on the RH bearing with the sleeve to have a good go so I ended up having to pull the bearing apart by dremaling the centre and splitting then they just tapped out.
thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the replies, there's no retaining clips that I can see. I've had a quick go at heating with no luck so I might have to take it to work and use the press.
I've attached pics of both sides the thing that is making it harder is the full length sleeve so you can't get a punch from the...
G'day,
Well it's been a while nearly 5 yrs to be exact since I first started my Cafe project and have started the ball rolling again in the last month.
I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and are getting excited...LOL. Only a few small things to finish off and concentrated on the...

I've even sprayed on WD40 and let soak overnight still no luck.
Is there any tricks, given that they are the originals so have been in there for a...

Just remember to take the protective sticker of the decals first before clearing I learnt the hard way >:(. But managed to save the decals and paint.

I'm in the process of restoration and my master cylinder is seized and full of gunk so I haven't managed to be able to get the piston out to measure it.

Hi there from down under, I'm in the final stages of finishing my tank and have a question regarding Stickers & Pin Striping.
Should I "Clear" over them or just stick them on after the clear?

Also aesthetically it looks the goods.

I saw this CB250 Bobber at a local show late last year which gave me the kick in the bum needed to get stuck back into finishing off my CB250.
Would what he's done with the longer intake have the same effect as the "sleeves" even though he's still used the pods?

It's been a while well over 4 years since the last post and any work on the bike. A lot of water has gone under the bridge and life changes which now allow me to continue with the build.
On the weekend I decided to see if she would start and bloody hell she started first press of the button...
The plans are to paint & ride...LOL. Leaving the side covers off. RE: Rear Sets - I cant remember what bike they come off too long ago got them from a wrecker. I still have to tidy up the mounting brackets.
Cheers
