cb125 disc brake conversion to hydraulic - was this ever resolved?

Dude. It would be cheaper, easier, and a significant braking improvement to use MB5 forks/wheel/caliper than to use the bicycle brake. The only downside is it's "not stock".

    73 CB100 Tracker Build

Re: 73 CB100 Tracker Build I think you were sent a set of triples from an XL125S. Those have 31mm forks, and my best guess as to the measurement is 1 7/32 inches, which is about 30.956mm. It's an interesting crossroads... to put beefy 31mm forks on or get the proper 27mm forks. If it were me...

CB125S with new rings, doesn't want to start...

Quick update... Timing is spot on. I spent a bit of time with a multimeter turning then engine and adjusting the points until the points were open (no beep) at F. Set the gap as well. Confirmed it was sparking by pulling the plug and kicking it over. Lots of sparks. It might be a fueling...

CB125S with new rings, doesn't want to start...

I do... It was running with the pod for about about a year before replacing the rings. Not sure the pod is the problem, but I'll put it on the list of things to check!

Thanks! I'll be checking everything once I get home from work.

How to break in new piston/rings on a CB125S

Thanks for the advice! I filled her up with regular dinosaur juice this afternoon and tried to start. Annnnd nothing... I made a new thread about the starting problems: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=66293

CB125S with new rings, doesn't want to start...

Put new rings in my CB125S and was all excited to ride today, but nothing went to plan. At first, there were fuel problems. I hate these fucking brass floats. Got it fixed. Then there were electrical problems. Going to solving this with a new wiring harness in the next couple of weeks...

How to break in new piston/rings on a CB125S

I recently finished my first top end rebuild on my '74 CB125S. I can't wait to kick the little bastard over, but I'm not sure how to break in the new parts. Some articles have said to not go full throttle and be extra careful, some have said to pretty much ride normally and check the oil more...

    Levers (yes i searched!)

On my Ninja 500 the master cylinder bore diameter is actually written on it. I think it's this way for most newer bikes, and possibly on your CB.

    Levers (yes i searched!)

I'd think anything from a newer bike would work. Make sure the master cylinder bore diameter is the same as your CB and it should be smooth sailing. By no means am I an expert on the CB750s though.

    Recommendations for quality control switches

If you're willing to try wiring it on your own, the controls from any bike will work. I've got the controls from a Chinese dirt bike I found in a dumpster on my 500 right now and they work great.

creating bike parts with 3D printer

That's all fine and well but 3D printing isn't available at production quality or rates for the average consumer. Hell, it's not really viable in most production environments yet. Anything worthwhile (as of today) is prohibitively expensive. A couple of my coworkers are very, very into 3D...

Can it be welded? Sure. But how much do you trust your welding skills or local shop?

cb125 disc brake conversion to hydraulic - was this ever resolved?

Stock CB125S disc wheel. The MB5 wheel would fit without any modification. The MB5 has a ~220mm disc and the CB125S ~240MM. Tire and wheel dimensions (diameter, axle diameter, width) are the exact same otherwise. I already had a spare disc wheel so I figured I wouldn't buy the MB5 wheel, but...

    Cb125s stuck two piece head

Not OP but... I'm trying to take apart my '74 CB125S at the moment and can't get the head off. I know mine is the 1 piece head but the bolts are near identical. Looks like I might have missed one. Thanks! Edit: I missed the bolt marked what looks like 11 in your picture. Everything came off no...
