The Free CB750 - Project Zoidberg

Hi, Those rubber blocks are the Cush Rubbers, just replace them with new one's as they're probably worn. There job is to take the shock out of the chain drive so you get a smooth transition to drive at the rear wheel(a type of shock absorber). Regards

CM 185T - The Learning Curve

Hi With a 6v system, you need to make sure all electrical connections are clean including all earths sanded over to make sure that you don't lose any amps with resistance. Because you have so little to work with in the first place. Converting to 12v would make this bike more reliable. Regards

Yamaha SR250 Restoration - Built by a schoolboy

Sometimes, because a bike isn't used the clutch plates stick together and won't allow a gear change. Rock the bike back n forth in gear to get some movement in the clutch pack.

Yamaha SR250 Restoration - Built by a schoolboy

Nice bike and build, I had one of these in the 125cc version and passed my test on it a couple of years ago. They are nippy and reliable as long as you do regular oil changes with good quality semi-synth bike oil. Don't be tempted with cheap asda car oil. Regards
