Changing the engine in my 81 kz550 cause it's seen better days. So I got a good deal on an 84 zx550 engine. I would like to keep my original carbs but the boots for the 81 carbs are different than the 84. Does anyone know of a set of boots that would work with the 81 carbs and the 84 engine...

My 81 kz550's engine is tired and I got a great deal on an 84 gpz550 engine. Now these two bike use different chain sizes. Can I put the 81 530 chain front sprocket on the 84 gpz engine which use a 520. Sent from my SM-N920V using DO THE TON mobile app

Do not get rid of the airbox. It will cost lots in jets to get it close to right with pods. ( which will never be right). I learned my lesson when I ditched the air box on mine. Never got it right. Switched to a single carb set up (cause I chucked the airbox) it runs good now but lost a little...
