That ride is for VME club members. They keep the ride date unpublished for that reason.

You are kidding yourself. The death was certified when a cafe show came to cable TV and it featured Japanese bikes.

Yes, very similar if not identical. There ar eseveral other shops and individuals producing this design. The WBO is hand made, top quality, perfectly finished, and beautiful in design. If you can find one, get it!

Thanks. I know it isn't a Monza tank, but the underside and mount will be similar. I bought this tank from WBO Racing in Germany. They have stopped production of their tanks, unfortunately.

So the owners of the Ace Cafe London saw these photos on the internet and asked for more info, perhaps an article for the club newsletter. Linda Wilsmore wrote up a nice story, and with these photos, has published it in London, France, and now the US:

Here's a photo of the bare seat cowl and pan: The cowl is recessed at the back of the upholstered area. The seat cover is wrapped over a strip of aluminum which is then attached to the cowl.

Here is the finished bike. It is a much better ride than I had expected, quick, fast, and stable. It's better looking than I expected, and has a lot of detail that Dick added on his own. This project took four years to finish and it was worth every minute.

Here's the bodywork. They are from Airtech, some of their Ducati parts. I built up the seat quite a bit for strength and shaped the nose to conform to the tank. I also re-shaped the fairing somewhat and reinforced it with epoxy and different glass types from Aircraft Spruce: Here it is...
