The resistors will work but will negate any power savings from the LED.

I used a 3 prong electronic flasher from auto zone! They don't need a certain load to work and Honda threw in an extra ground wire in the harness that is perfect for that 3rd prong.

Ive seen some pretty cool ruckus' stretched and modified but Honda is a good scooter. Those are just mainland china pieces of sh*t that wont run for more than 6 months anyway. Why waist the time and effort just to make it look worse.
