gave it a try again today...
unplugged what i had plugged.
did everything over, color to color.
now, when the key is in the accessory position the starter motor turns forever and won't stop...but when i turn to to "start" position it is dead.
the bike starts immediately in the ACC position...
you know, when i initially plugged everything all up...
i tried to give it a start and it wasn't turning over.
the lights wouldn't work (in front) and one of my signals was on constant. told me something was afoul with my wiring.
and this was with color-color plug back.
maybe now you can...
i thought so too...
but then i ran into wires that were "left over", and duplicates of several black wires...
something just wasn't right.
i did a little search...if you have something handy that would be great.

also tackled the nightmare install of the clubman bars. i have no idea why anyone said that swap was easy...it's not by a long shot. i hope i can get that rats-nest of a wire loom...
thank you again.
i contacted them, and their price is very fair.
hopefully i can get the ball rolling and order a set. ;D
i forgot to ask...do these rear sets interfere with the original kickstarter? i noticed yours is missing...
i LOVE how you incorporated the stock taillight.
keeps it still looking like a honda, which i like.
would that seat fit any other bike? perhaps a 71 cb500?
any info on your rear sets as well? i like that mounting plate...
sounds like you really had your eyes open for the right deals...
as far as the paint goes...as much as i'd like it to be exact, i'll take "close enough".
i just need something that is similar in nature. i REALLY like the candy gold that the bike originally came in, with the green coming in a...
