Mate your SR is very inspiring for my girlfriend who has a picture of your cafe racer on the fridge. She is rebuilding a SR 250 also. Did you have trouble finding a spring for the center stand? Awesome job!
I really like the rat fighter look mate, I'm not a fan of the Gixxer headlights though, they seem to me to big for your bike. What about using some smaller dominator style headlights? You could even mount them vertically for a different look?
Hi guys, I'm only new to the forum so i hope I'm not out of line adding my opinion, leave the holes mate as it will be still strong enough and I always have been told that welding cast iron is a bad practise.
This is how it looked in it's second build phase, I had replace the rear subframe with a k1 gixxer tail unit.
I then decided it was time for a face lift so I got hold of a K4 tail and stripped it down for a fresh coat of paint
The new tail would not fit the sub frame
