Hey people.....just thought I'd share some photos of the recent 'MODS vs ROCKERS' event that took place just recently on Sunday 25th of October here in Victoria, Australia.
The event was put on by the help of Shadow from the local Aussie 59 Club and supported by the 'Crusaders Scooter Club'...
Yes, that's the same reference I used when checking up the situation originally and I must say....I feel it's not as 'clear cut' as it seems. I particularly paid attention to the sections referencing 'Brake Light / Red Rear Lamp / Number Plate Lamp' and it doesn't reference anything about...
Man.....that is bbbbeeeaaaauuuutifullllll!!!!! My fav bike....a Norton Atlas is what I would love to have one day.
You have done a fantastic job, if it's at all possible.....I think I've fallen in love (with a machine) ;)

Hey Sebaton, yeah...I've had this question asked a couple of times and my best answer is.....no. I haven't had any troubles (as yet) and I believe that I've followed the regulations (at least to my knowledge and what I could find out at the time) about the positioning of the rear Stop/Tail...
What makes you say that Liam? I was only at Speer Performance two weekends ago for a Dyno Day that Sam (Speer) was holding. I'm pretty sure he has no intention of moving just yet so they are still in the same place in Richmond, Victoria (Australia). :)

Yeah, I saw this bike awhile back when I was searching for Spoke wheels for the CX. Great job, way too much work for me though. Pity the rest of the bike looks shit....hahahaha. Hey, but if anyone is willing to build some for me I'd be more than interested. :D

Well, since buying my project from a friend (and doubting at first that I really wanted it), I've now come to love the old CX500. It definately shouts "take a look at me"....hahaha.
Here is a recent photo with the tank resprayed and new 'Norton-style' decals on.

Well, if this thread is still going I guess I'll add to it.
This little '64 Falcon Futura Coupe (Aussie model....both the car & the girl..hehehe) is what we still currently own.
And this was my pride & joy, '61 Ford Ranch Wagon which I sold to help finance the purchase of our home :( She was...
Hey Mark, man what a wild looking ride. :o
Did you build that yourself? .....a great job you've done. It's not my 'cup of tea' when it comes to style of bike but man, I can appreciate the effort in creating that beast. That's definately and unusual interpretation of a BSA A65. Bet that...
Oh...by the way..... if anyone is in the area of Greenwood Drive, Bundoora (VIC) on this Saturday (18th July), feel free to follow the Garage Sale signs and drop by for a chat or some Honda Parts I'm getting rid of ;D
I'll be there from 9am till mid afternoon or until we get bored. You won't...
