Fuel filters can be tricky... I get mine from Mike at Industrial Spec. This one has a stainless 60 micron filter and flows over 8 gallons an hour. About $4..Good stuff..E85 resistant too. Never came apart or any problems. The old petcock filters may not catch all the debris..cheap back up...

I really don't want the DOT, EPA, IRS, ATF, FBI or anyone at the fed to "ok" my helmet. They are not motorcyclist and the DOT would not approve any motorcycle for road use...
The 3/4 helmet worked fine with goggles on a very quick 750 Sport. Without a fairing and with another 20mph on the Laverda it was impossible to navigate at high speed.

Hailwood used a full face helmet because the bike was so much faster. His goggles would come off over 130mph. Its a matter of vision and streamlining. You have a very hard time seeing down the track at 140mph. A full face helmet helps.
At Charlotte Motor Speedway back in 1978...North Carolina Highway Patrol Radar clocked the bike (with an open factory exhaust, open intakes and factory 4c camshafts and other bits) at 148mph on the straight.
