no pics of it yet i can take some though. from the suggestion of another member i am currently reworking the swing arm and when it is done i can reshoot pics and include the upper mount
alright so i got some 117.5 mains and new pilots, went to town on the carbs and also raised the needles a notch, decided to paint them while i had em apart. then had to stick em on the bike and make a little noise. pretty solid pay off if i may say so myself. lots of noise and flames out the...
hi all, i found another bike to ruin. or make better one way or another. i found a 79 kz650 not running for 500 dollars. it turned over and had been garaged it's whole 33 year life, so i thought it was well worth it. i currently ride a cb400 and want something that doesn't scream at me on the...
i just spent 2 hrs looking for some info on my cb400t. then i come and this god send is sitting right in front of me. i come to this site a lot and don't know i don't always come here first.
thanks so much for posting this
don't know what i like more: the plans for the bike, or the garage set up.
i'll be keeping a close eye though as im doing a mono and gsxr 1000 front end on a 79 kz650

i just laid the fiberglass directly over that black construction paper. i taped it to float an inch or two above the air box and frame rails. then threw foam under it so the seat gives a little
thanks for the paint tip i need to do something or ill ruin that paint before i hit 1000 miles and be doing it again. as for the seat there's no seat pan here's my seat build pics
no seat pan just 3 layers of fiberglass, then i went back and did 3 more layers on the inside where your...
thanks man, really it would have been well under five except i didn't get a bike with a title so i spent 100 on a frame with one, i had a stuck main jet that i shelled the whole carb trying to remove so i spent 100 on new carbs and the tank that came with the bike was pretty much rusted through...
funny you should say that. i've unfortunately found that out the hard way and already repainted the tank. now im pretty anal with the paper towels at the gas station
