Found the problem, I need a gearshift spindle for a 1970 CB450. Please if anyone reading this has a line on this thing please let me know (i.e. motor lying around?). Im not sure if the later K models part will fit, that PN ends in -040.

Got the bike together...its sweet. Rode in two blocks and it stopped shifting. The gear shirt shaft is basicially frozen. It wont shift any where. Do i need a new tranny now!?!?!?! Help me!!!
Im smack-dab in the middle of my rear set project and I 99% sure that my '05 gsxr rear sets, both shifter and brake side, are gonna work out just fine. The brake side on my '70 cb450 just need a new clevis and threaded rod. Ill post some pics when I get a chance.
What forks would fit a 1970 CB450 triples and would fit the stock 450 caliper???
Im looking at stuff on eBay: 1974 CB360, 1975 CB450F, 1970 SL350...any of these work???
If not what would???
Nice, are these in perfect working order, I dont mind the grim but my shocks were leaked out and im a bit paranoid about purchasing shocks with the same problem. How long are they?
I need a set of fork tubes for my CB450. Mine are pitted and the fork seal blew out upon installation. Please reply if you have a decent set laying around. Thanks.
Took my shocks into my shop and the tech said they were done...leaked out and cant be rebuilt. I have a 1970 cb450, but I just need a pair of working rear shock that have a clevis that mounts to the swingarm. I would spend $50 total for a decent set that someone is looking to get rid of.
HAHA...we should start a club. Let me know how it goes. im still in the process of painting my bike so I wont get to moke up the rear sets for at least 2 more weeks.
