Theres a guy on craigslist parting out is 82 gl1100. He has front forks and trees for sell. I know the steering bearings are the same but im not sure about the rake, trail and fork length. I want larger forks for the looks but could they also posses better handling characteristics? Has anyone...
Check, thanks redbird. The bike is over my boy's house getting the rubber swapped. When I get it back ill go to work on the charging system. Hopefully I can get it knocked out in the next week or so. There was a testing procedure in my clymers but I left it with the bike.

Just asked that ? And from what I can gather 150 on the back is the max but it should probably be a 150/70/16 and you may be able to go up one in the front but down one won't hurt anything.
Fellas, I have a 80 cb750c. I have yet to officially ride the bike. However, I got the bike fired up and let it idle for about 20 mins and it cut out on me. Do I have to be at a certain rpm before the charging system kicks in? Or will it die on me on the road after 20 mins?
Im over here looking at Shinkos and your doing it big (litterally) with the night dragons. My cb is the second most important bike in the garage so i was trying to keep the budget down but damn those night dragons look nice. Great build as well

it looks like the guy put a K tail and i dont know what tank that is. I had to get a petcock made for it. I like the one at the top on the right. That looks like me. I wonder what you could do if you had more than pork chop grilling time? Either way, thanks a lot.
