So I was thinking about possibly swapping out the rear 16" wheel on my 78 CB400 tii with an 18" to have it match up to the front. I found out that some bikes (not sure which though) had an 18" rear Comstar on the rear.
Does anyone know from which bikes this swap is possible from?

I'm about to jump on redoing the rear end on my 78 Hawk II.. what would be a recommended thickness for the steel plate used for the new rear shock mounts?
As far as I know they came with both a stamped steel (which I have) or an aluminum one depending on the model variation.
Or I might be wrong and searching for something doesn't even exist??
