I haven't found the acceptable length or tolerance for the cam chain. My manual doesn't have it listed. Does anyone have this info in a manual or maybe a new cam chain that they are just about to install?
Thanks
Good news on the rears, thanks.
What if I said I wanted to go up to a 20" wheel up front. I saw a CB that has a dirt bike tire up front, that was much larger and it looked good. Again, I'm talking size of tire, I'm not talking about putting dirt bike tire up there.
Hey guys,
Thanks for the concern and pushing me to think about this, but what I'm looking for is a larger diameter rim and tire combo up front, not even sure what it is currently. Not looking to put a larger tire on the stock front rim. I've seen a dirt bike tire up front and the size looks...
I've seen a few out there with larger diameter front tires, looks good. For the back tire, why not go a little wider?
I'm not looking to have this bike look stock. There will be some stock parts, but I want to give it a modern look.
Hi,
I'm looking to put a larger front rim/tire combo on the front of my CB360 and a wider rear tire on the stock rim.
1) Is there a max rim/tire size that I can get away with on the front of the CB360?
2) What is the max tire width I can put on the stock rim and not interfere with the...
Thanks Sonreir, I've seen a few sites that sell an open chain and a master link is to be used. Not sure if the chain in my current bike is the endless style or not, likely is as it is quite old. Anyone have any comments on an endless style chain vs chain with master link?
OK, so it sounds like I have to wait until I reassemble before I can tell if I need a new cam chain. I tried the "hold the cam chain horizontal" it did deflect a bit, but I don't know if that bit is enough to warrant a new chain. As long as I know you can replace a cam chain after the block is...
Hi,
I'm at the stage in my build where I have to figure out if I want to lengthen the swingarm...I'm working on a 74 CB360, I'm 6'2" and am going to chop off the extension on the frame behind the seat (just behind the shock mounts). As I was sitting on this bike and took a pic, I looked at...
Joined a while back as I was looking to get some info for my project bike 74 CB360. Going to start to post the state of the project as I have time, never enough of that.
