Not sure about the Volvo as it was one of the other riders. They definitely have a cult following here in the states, especially the older ones, but you're probably right about them still not going for a lot of $$.

Been silently following this build from the beginning. Really enjoying it. I have run those duel sport tires on a bike before, and though I sold it and didn't ride it much I thought they were fine tires. I see you want to be able to navigate gravel roads, so in that respect, they make sense...
