I always add a thin layer if using paper gaskets. When putting back together- tighten the bolts hand tight then let the the sealant tack/dry for 24 hours and then torque the bolts. This will keep the sealant from squeezing out all into the case.

Mine was locked up pretty good even after drilling out the punch mark. Made a hard punch out of puck board, stuck it in one of the holes and gave it a good whack to get it freed up

I have a small dent in my frame hoop and some grind marks from removing some tabs what i would like to fill before getting the frame sandblasted and powdercoated.
What is the better option here - filling the spots in with brass brazing rod then filing/sanding smooth, mig welding over the spots...
Looking for good condition fork tubes for a SOHC CB750...preferable from a 77/78 w/ hard chrome. Will buy full fork assemblies if necessary.
Figured i'd see if anyone has a mint set or I'll just buy new.
