As for valve clearance adjustment, where does the cam need to be? They are all down at 90 after LT. I believe the flywheel says J. Is this the place for clearance adjustment?

Is my cam timed correctly? Reassembling, first sl350 I have put together. Here's a few pictures This is my engine at LT, L at top on cam sprocket, nub is up on points end, tension is on the cam.

Most of the time it boils down to coincidence. Sometimes it is knowing where the quality was lost, like with Chinese carbs. Great little items for about 20- $30 new, if you don't mind replacing the all the rubber gaskets immediately, as they will all start to dry crack in 1-3 months. Chinese...

I find the most reliable shutoff valves I've ever bought to be the little red and black universal in-line lawn mower type, 6 bucks each. Ihave bought a honda oem petcock valve and had it fail in shorter interval than the other type.

I bought 4 of these from a bike shop that was going out of business, and only need 2. They're all new, the guy used 125cc motors instead of these on some Kikker 5150 bikes. $150 each.
