    KZ650 Piston Trigger #2

It's a little on the heavier side but once you get to speed it's not bad.

    KZ650 Piston Trigger #2

It's been a long time coming and this KZ is pretty much finished. I've been blasting on it around town for the last few weeks and it's a hell of fun bike to ride in the city. I have to say that this project didn't come easy. It seems I've spent majority of time fixing my own damn mistakes. It...

    KZ650 Piston Trigger #2

It's an old enduro tank i found online i actually have no clue what bike it was from. the fender is a stock one that has been chopped and relocated. The best shop in Philly area for your blasting and powdercoating needs or any other motorcycle related fabrication is located in Collingdale, PA...

    KZ650 Piston Trigger #2

Both front and back are 18" rims laced to the stock hubs. The rear wheel is stock. When doing the conversion i roughly measured out the distance by mocking up a hub to the wheel and using old spoke to guesstimate the length. I think it was 170mm Front spokes (40 count) and 145mm Rear Spokes (40...

    KZ650 Piston Trigger #2

I used stock front hub and stock rear rim. Just had to measure the spoke length and order them to size.

Re: KZ650 #2 Few more updates. Upholstery place did the seat in no time and it turned out pretty good. Got the forks rebuilt and mocked up the front end. The tank is primed and ready for paint.

    KZ650 Piston Trigger #2

Re: KZ650 #2 Thanks. The Led is trailer marking light. superbrightleds.com has bunch of nice options. Haha, the oil screen and kickshaft screen are not powdercaoted, just in the same picture. The rear sprocket is in descent shape. The powdercoater didn't disassemble the sprocket before...

    KZ650 Piston Trigger #2

Re: KZ650 #2 Thanks guys. Here are a few more updates. I really liked this Pirelli tires i found. They are 140 wide and have just enough clearance. Also fabricated the rear fender and mounted a very simple tail light. Started shaping the seat as well. Fitted 'All Balls' steering bearings

    KZ650 Piston Trigger #2

Hello. Started on a new project. It's a 1979 KZ650 that i found on Craigslist. Here are a few pictures of how it looked when i got it. From first look it's not bad but if you look closer it's a mess. It didn't run but the engine turned over and the price was right and i was itching for a new...
