The Dime City "Brass Cafe" - Black, Nickel and Brass- Oh my!

I love the craftsmanship, but I have to say this because I owned one. If that is a 68-69 K1 CB450 they only made 6000 of them. Would be worth way more to restore it. I know it's your bike and your choice. But the reason I sold mine is because I wanted something I could cut up and still be able...

Re: Vinnie's CB750 Cafe build - ASSEMBLY!!! Thanks guys, this bike has definitely been a humbling experience. Everything that could...did. If you catch my drift.

    Vinnie's CB750 Cafe build - Motor time.

Sorry for the lack of updates, vendor issues and laziness has frustrated me. So the bike is just getting slapped back together for the riding season. It will be fully painted this next winter. Until then I am just going to ride. Better pics will come after the bike is completely back...

73 CB200 straight up Cafe racer!! Thanks to all for the kind words!!

Re: 73 CB200 straight up Cafe racer!! "Smokey"??!! I did it on a CL175 project, first bike ever back in the day. It's not too difficult and can be done quite easily; Only needs patience. http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-wheels/spoke-wheels/

Super Happy Fun Time cl350 - Seat Build!

WOW. This is what I am talking about. Your attention to detail on the cowl nothing short of amazing. It looks like it belongs on this bike and it ties the bike completely together. Not just a set of bolted on components. Brilliant man. Keep it up!

    ElHatton's rookie '75 CB360 cafe build

From what I've seen 360's can be turned into a pretty cool ride. Don't let the wiring scare you, these are old girls with just the basics to get along. Incase you don't want to wait for the manual: Remember green is ground and black is hot. I cannot stress how important a good ground is...

Thanks everyone! Much appreciated. I am 2 1/2 months into the rebuild, and really trying to keep a solid progress going. This weeks goals: Fab up the oil tank brackets. (Final frame fabrication!) Clean up the frame, and send it out for powder coating. Drop the seat off at the upholsterers...

She may not be the prettiest girl...75 CB360

Re: She may not be the prettiest girl... I like the paint ideas running through your head. Although at this point I would focus more on the lines of the bike. Paint is the icing on the cake. Maybe make sure the cowl compliments the lines of the tank. That way it looks thought out, like if...

    Vinnie's CB750 Cafe build - Motor time.

Thanks Ian! Yes the 35mm the diameter of my cb750's fork tubes. There is enough to travel lock to lock on my new setup. The clip-ons reduced the amount of travel I had before (Due to them hitting the tank) So the damper is acting as my lock to lock stops, which stops the bars less than a 1/4...

@fastcat14 Thanks, I am trying. This is my first time attempting anything this in depth. @thompsonmx100 I feel your paranoia :) I made sure everything is extra clean, and I'm sure I'll octuple check again before assembly. @Firestarter Thank you very much. I am going to paint the cowl and tank...

    Vinnie's CB750 Cafe build - Motor time.

Not sure, just used what ever they had. It was about the same size as the soda I was shooting originally. I upgraded the studs because I've heard it's hard to get the correct torque on old worn out studs. I had the money so I figured what the hell. I am glad I did, there is a big difference...
