Alpha thanks for the help. I've done some research of my own and found helpful information.

I hope to have the time this weekend to split my tank and begin repair.
Of course i'll have to seal it with this product or similar...
I found some great advice here and was hoping I could get some help with my fiberglass problem.
I have an old fiberglass gas tank that needs repair.
The seems at the bottom have come apart. I'm curious if sanding and laying new mat and resin would be the best fix or if there is a caulk type...
I'm back bitches! I mean that in the nicest way.
The CB 350 I built years ago has been sold. Although the RC51 rear sets I mounted with dennis kirk 3 piece clamps I believe will live on forever. I have had so many question where I got those clamps, and have been happy to help out.
I kept a...

thanks guys . . i wish i wasn't so far south i'd love to go on a cafe group ride . . . not many cafe bikes around here. in CT i just look like some kinda weirdo lol
yeah i ordered oem #70 jets and i'm gonna go to a #110, stock needle height . . i think it'll be running real good then.
maybe i'll be able to go over 80mph being up 1 size in both jets :) . . . i wonder what the difference in roll out is between my tire and a factory one though ? ? ?
do...
actually i worked on the bike a lot today and removed the shims . . . i have been chasing a carb problem that now i believe is caused by a loose primary main jet in the right side carb. i think the 35 year old o ring just ain't cuttin it any more ;D
I've only been riding my bike to adjust the carbs (maybe 5-8 miles tops) and i have to tell ya the clubmans are rough on the wrists, I have a decent back and they don't bother it at all. I really like the look and aggressive riding position. I would buy them again.
compressed air works well for installing grips too . . and allows the grips to be easily moved in or outward on the bars even after the grips have been on for long periods of time. I push the grip on an inch or just as much as possible then stick the end of a blow gun in the grip on the side of...
no i'm sorry i do not. I do have two extra washers i could take a picture of but i don't think a picture will accurately show its size. My bike is running well now, i had to fix a spark plug wire arching problem also. I think i do need a little more adjustment in the needle so i'll try to...
i have the clubmans with 6" pull back on my cb350 it's pretty leaned over but they are adjustable . . . one thing that is nice about the clip ons is that you can lower the front end more with them. the forks hit the clubmans on my bike after lowering the forks about 40mm.
