Roc City Cafe Headlight Bucket with Headlight and Mounting Bracket/Lip Ring

Hello! Unfortunately it is a sealed beam. I think I have another headlight around and I will check to see if it is sealed or not. Thanks!

Roc City Cafe Headlight Bucket with Headlight and Mounting Bracket/Lip Ring

Hello! I actually live in Milford. It's a small world. I actually just got done completely parting out a '72 CB500 a few weeks ago, down to the bare frame, which I ended up shipping out as well on a greyhound bus. I still have some stuff and have leads on the occasional bikes and parts. Is...

Roc City Cafe Headlight Bucket with Headlight and Mounting Bracket/Lip Ring

Hello all! Selling a new headlight bucket from Roc City Cafe, along with everything else needed to refresh ones lighting situation. The headlight bucket has never been used. I did throw a quick coat of matte black paint on it, some of which has flaked off, but it is new otherwise. Great...

First Bike, First Build: 1972 CB500

Just got done installing clip-ons. All the rust that accumulated on the fork tubes right inn the area where they would be almost out made it a pain to get them out smoothly, but still got them out eventually. Next plan to hook up the carburetors and make a new slim-line seat. I have seen some...

What can be used to replace one of those leaf springs in a CB500 Carb?

Has anyone come up with something that will work to hold in the main jet besides trying to locate another leaf spring or buying a complete set of carburetors? Let me know if there is anything that works. Thanks -Will

First Bike, First Build: 1972 CB500

Completely changed direction, as shown from the new pictures. Still not sure if it is going to end up more bobber or cafe style, but I think it will be a mixture of both. Plan to have it running by this weekend or early next week, would also like to get some clip-ons and fabricate a seat of...

    Looking for this bike!

Does anyone know what kind of handlebars those are? I tried searching the build thread but I couldn't find it.

First Bike, First Build: 1972 CB500

Some minor progress as I have gotten more time as school finishes up. I'll post some info later, still a few things left before I can start it, but I have made some steps forward. Still need to fabricate one of those leaf springs for one of the carbs, but other than that, just some minor things.

First Bike, First Build: 1972 CB500

Finally have some time off in a week to get stuff done. Plan on rebuilding the carbs; going to try that home-made soda blaster in the 1-800-...section. New oil (+ Filter) and battery good to go as well. Should be able to get it running with some carb tuning after the rebuild. Also have some...

Great Japanese Motorcycle Shops + Motorcycle Blog

BikeEFIX is great, I've been addicted for a couple months now since I found it. It gives you a lot of ideas + a lot of background info on the builders too.

First Bike, First Build: 1972 CB500

Thanks for the tips! I actually got in touch with the previous owner today and it turns out he found the keys, so that is a non issue now. I guess the next step is to tear down the carbs and get a new battery. Could anyone tell me off hand what the most likely reason is as to why the carbs...
