    Fuel Cock Leaking!! CARBS

I understand now! Apologies! I'd agree with Teazer's first post. I had one with a dried up O-ring, replaced it and problem solved.

    Fuel Cock Leaking!! CARBS

Don't run the fuel line without a petcock... Well, unless you want to fill your engines bottom end with fuel. The petcock leaks in the "ON" and "RES" positions? Sounds like it may need to rebuild or replacement.

    Storing a Motorcycle

I've also just blown carbs dry with air to see how well it worked, pulled the bowls and they were completely dry. Might not work with all types though.

Remove the bolt at the bottom of the carbs, pull off the bowls and dump and dry them, then reinstall.

    Piggyback on my zinc plating

I'm hoping to be ready to send out mid July, but not in any huge rush. FYI, the plating company I use, Burbank Plating is really quick, generally the parts are being shipped back to me within a day or two of them receiving them. Large USPS flat rate boxes are a great way to save on shipping if...

    Yamaha SR250 - A clean standard build

I've had a lot of zinc and black zinc plating done. If you want a great finish on the larger pieces sand and polish them prior to plating. I usually polish or at least run under a wire brush, any large parts I have plated and large bolt heads that I know are going to be very visible. I'll try...
