Is that the stock location of the choke on your bike? I have an 82 GS650L that had the choke lever on the handle bar, but I got a new cable and it came with the your style choke knob. Could you let me know how it is routed? Thanks! Love the bike by the way, you did a really nice job on it!
In the past I have spent a lot of time on basscliffs site, Perhaps that's where I saw it. The headlight switch elimination definitely rings a bell.
I am just driving home right now so I will look when I get home. I had a couple spare hours today so I decided to work on the bike but...
I swear I have seen this information before but I have just been looking for over an hour and I can't find exactly what I need. I am looking for the exact pin out diagram for a SH755 regulator. From what I understand the black connector on the right the outer pin is ground the in her pen is...
Wow.... I just got sucked into reading that whole witworth thread... Seems like an awful human being, I hope I never have the bad fortune of meeting him.
I have a few of those, they are pretty handy and can work better than a swivel or uni-joint in some cases. They are called "wobble" extensions.
I have snap-on ones, but here is a link to gearwrench ones on amazon

Ooohhh Shiny!!!
Looks like you are making some good progress on the bike. I decided the same thing with mine, just do some minor mods and enjoy it while we still have some summer left. You can always go back and do something more in depth later.
Re: "Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!
Agreed. Nothing was meant as a personal jab... the internet has a mysterious of turning people against each-other.
Midwestgl500 I hope no harm no foul...
I don't know who the hell xb33bsa is and he doesn't seem to be well liked, so don't lump me in with him.
I completely agree with Mr_Dunev you are not a "snitch" if you take the side of a victim rather than that of a criminal.
Why in the world would someone defend someone who is being...
This guy obviously owes money on the bike, that he probably purchased and couldn't finish paying off. There is then a lien on the bike, the bike belongs to the lien holder not to the poor sucker that buys it off of him for parts. They are then in possession of stolen goods, which is a crime...
It's Alive!!!!!
So I threw the set of carbs that I rebuilt back on the first bike, and got everything temporally hooked up just to see it if it would run properly. Once I got everything back together I went to turn the key.... and nothing... I checked voltage at my brand new, freshly charged...
Wow, you are putting a ton of work into that Jeep. That thing is going to be awesome once you are finished though. I like the concept of having an older, unique vehicle with a modern drivetrain that has plenty of power and that will be super reliable.
It wouldn't be a project on here...
