when you cleaned carbs did you get the emulsion tubes out and clean them? when i did my 550 carbs i got everything spotless except i forgot the tubes. took them out and they were all clogged up. cleaned them and now it runs well
maybe the pilot jets are clogged and not getting enough fuel to start. or choke not working properly. if it worked when fuel was added to the cylinders i would guess its a fuel issue

May want to check the plug wires too.
WHELP. She is running great and not fouling plugs anymore. I took her into a local dealer my fiancee dad uses. They did a compression test which came out fine and they recommended replacing the condensers. It looks like once they got hot they would create a dull spark. Swapped those out and she...
that would be sweet to atleast get me in the ballpark and ready for some fine tuning. i feel like i can take these carbs apart with my eyes closed already haha
idles great at around 1100 rpms but does pop out of the carbs a bit. im assuming that means lean. havent messed with air screws. they are at 1.5 turns out
bike will barely run with choke on at all once it starts it needs constant throttle. cleaned the pilots a few weeks ago when i started the jetting process. ill clean them again tomorrow. could they be too small/lean? i didnt bump them up a size while mains went from 98 up to 110.
so i bumped main up to 110 and it pulls like crazy at WOT now. but after about 10-15 mins of normal riding it starts to blubber in midrange up and have no power up top again. dang this is frustrating. pulled plugs and they look good to me
