Just wanted to post an update... I tore my bike down over the winter and rebuilt the engine (once again). I also heightened the rear shocks (to get better clearance in the rear end). Changed out the taillight and signal lights as well. Here are a few pics... I'm happy to be back riding it...

Did you do any work on the carbs while you were fixing it up? The problem that you're describing sounds just a bit like carb floats that are set too low. So you're running out of fuel when your engine needs it.

dwejantim, if your post was in reference to my bike, the paint is high temp paint and the color was "cast iron". I loved the paint on the motor when I was building the motor up, but since I've put it in the bike, I'm not entirely sure it matches the color scheme of the bike as a whole. What are...
