dipyourcar.com has a video on doing exhaust tips. That would be on cars though, so the temps would be lower. They recommend only using a cleaning solution before putting it on chrome.

Obviously it wouldn't be everyone's taste, and it's not really mine, but there is no denying that is ONE CLEAN BUILD. The white springs and shock covers really pull it together. Nice work.
