It is a true 1000, and I know about the wire wheels. But I might have misunderstood some research I did in the past, I thought only Australian Katanas got the optional wire wheels. I was pretty certain they never come to the states. I will look into your link in a bit, finishing up some...
Our opinions vary greatly. I personally think this motorcycle was far ahead of its time aesthetically speaking. The ergonomics of this motorcycle resemble modern street bikes more than any other motorcycle in its time period, being that it is from the early 80s.
But anyways, thanks for...
I absolutely love this build, it pays tribute to what Suzuki initially built while building it as if they built it today... Plus the pipe is to die for.

They are all sweet rides. I was just messing with you too. ;D I love that XS, but it's not the striping that fascinates me. It's the way it would ride. Looks like a real flat tracker of sorts.
I registered to become a part of the community, not to just pole smoke the smoker.
That's a...
Are you kidding me? I have seen many bikes done just like that XS650. Not once have I seen a GT750 like that. Hell, the only part apparently from the GT750 on that is the frame and motor, and even that isn't stock. Get out of here with your fanboyism.
