I'm about ready to send my cases and sundry covers away for vapour blast cleaning and I'm wondering if I need to remove the valve guides or not..
I'm of the belief that vapour blasting is not abrasive (like sand, bead or soda blasting) and therefore wouldn't damage them..??

I know its a long shot but I thought I'd reach out to the community.
I'm after the #4 carburettor or just the body to suit a 1975 Honda CB400F Super Sport.
I "borked" the one Ive got trying to remove the pin that holds the float.
Feeling kinda pissed off with myself at the moment...
Bought this the other day... Probably paid a bit much for it at $500.
Its going to be used as a donor for my CB350F project...
I mean a full set of carbs would set me back way more over here..!!!
