    Exhaust and other parts.

So! I managed to install the chrome header and the silencer, and attached it to the frame at the footpeg. It was all a bit of work getting it all right and making it all fit, and in the end I went with the best I could get out of it. The silencer is a little far from the wheel, but not weirdly...

    Exhaust and other parts.

Hi 2b! I'm going to try and make it fit with the copper rings some more first, see what happens... I tried securing the silencer on the footpeg, but the footpeg bolt is too wide, but only like a millimeter or so. I could widen the hole of the metal plate with my dremel. You think that's a...

    Exhaust and other parts.

Hiya! I got the chrome header cut and installed the exhaust like it should, but I did ran into some problems. Obviously :-) The biggest/main problem is the fitting of the silencer on the header. There's ample room there, so I needed to use the copper-coloured tubes to put in there so it fits...

    Exhaust and other parts.

That's the one :-) Speaking of the battery... i've never done this before. The negative and positive wires from the bike are screwed onto the battery, from what I can see. But that means that you can get a shock when trying to screw those connections loose... or am I missing something?

    Exhaust and other parts.

Aloha! I fixed my exhaust and noise problems :D I received the parts on friday, and only had 2 hours before leaving for a weekend. I did run into some little problems though. First I noticed that the "thingy" that should fix the header on the engine was too wide, the holes at least. So it...

    Exhaust and other parts.

Wow, thanks for all the info, especially Waketrip, you've given me a lot of stuff I can work with! I'm pretty hopeful about the future with my bike now :-) For the exhaust, I'll go with the OORacing header and the Classicbike exhaust, because it does look great and I hope it'll be quiter. I can...

    Exhaust and other parts.

Howdy! I bought a used Ace 125 almost half a year ago, and it's a blast to ride! However, the former owner changed some stuff that I want to undo. 2 problems: I know nothing about engines or electronics (well, a bit about that) or mechanics, and the Skyteam dealers in the area don't seem to...

    Antwerp Ace Meeting

Hm, that doesn't seem too complicated. I think even I could do those changes :-) i'm not technical at all, so it's all a bit challenging :p How did you fix the mounting of the license plate, rear light and indicators? It reminds me of a "mod" I once did on my Honda Camino when I was like 18 or...

    Antwerp Ace Meeting

Hi guys, I wish I could've made it, but it was my bachelor weekend, so I was kind of preoccupied trying to survive. I made it :p I'm from Gent, so It could've been a sweet trip. Pity the weather was bad though! Actually, I have some questions about the Ace with the yellow headlight. I think...

    ACE URBAN M3

They show up here in Belgium sometimes, and are advertised a lot as "Wow you must have this crazy but genious concoction!". I think they're just a gimmick for the youngsters though, no? Interesting that Skyteam decided to copy this model, however, and the other ones you've posted seem like...

    Ace stalling and dying

Well it did seem to do the bike some good to ride untill it runs completely out of petrol! Went for a ride a couple of days ago, and the bike keeps driving better and better. The clutch feels very good, and I notice my top speed is improving as well. I'm at 820KM now, so I'm intrigued how much...

    Ace stalling and dying

Sooo the bike was out of gas :p I went back to my brother to try starting the bike, but checked the gas tank first, which was totally empty. Also, the hole was still filled with a screw, it looked to be done quite well also! I had checked the gas tank the first 2 times the bike stalled, and it...

    Ace stalling and dying

I tried the reserve setting a little while before the ace refused to start anymore. I was able to drive a little bit and it did go a little better than before, but in the end it stalled anyway. I'm not really sure what the hole is filled with, or if the hose was just left on. I'll check it out...

    Ace stalling and dying

Hi 2b! Thanks for your reply! I checked the kill-switch, keys, and side stand, unfortunately that wasn't it, it would've been an easy fix! :-) also, I always start in neutral, and the last time I tried starting the bike (which was after he stalled, and then the engine died), the bike started...

    Ace stalling and dying

Howdy! This is my first post on the forum, but I've been checking it out for a few months for ideas and info. Long story short: I bought a used Ace from 2011, which hadn't been driven for 2 years or so by the first owner, then bought by someone who made some mods (new exhaust, remvoed the...
