    Long awaited CB200 Build

Needs some tweaking but pretty happy with this little set up using Motobits kit for a Cb175. Spacers need turned down smaller and the shift side is being annoying because the bike frame is wonky, which is of course amplified in the rearset, not that you can tell from the angle of the photo...

Thanks - will do. I get stuff vapour blasted. It’s a finer finish. Although you still get metal dust and potentially some leftover over media which needs a good clean up as you say. [emoji106]

Thanks [emoji4] They are PE22’s. Which don’t fit around my frame of course. I’m not sure those are called journals are they? You may be right! In any case yes they’ll be painted but I’m not sure about their covers, or the clutch and rotor covers which I’ve left as they were for now while I...

You mean the front brake caliper? Nope, I designed the bracket to fit the caliper so I didn’t look at any other calipers once I picked that one.

So the engine work is all finished - head and carbs were the final bits. Engine specialist has done a superb job machining the carbs, some pics below. More to follow at the weekend. Petrol and heat proof hose to sleeve together: I’m just waiting for a couple of these to arrive to go...

The carbs internals haven’t been touched - I bought new carbs (PE22’s) as the originals didn’t have enough metal for boring out.

It's actually a rear caliper, as you say, nothing decent for the front fits these little bikes. I'm not even sure this setup is going to work but we'll see. From memory its one of these: https://www.biketorqueracing.co.uk/buy/brembo-brembo-oe-rear-brake-caliper-black/20516181.htm

I haven’t tested it but I think so, it was actually working before but the coatings were starting to fail so I’m not sure it would have lasted too long. Cheap, £130 quid!
