Some info regarding lowering of CRF forks. You have to do two things. Step one. Either borrow a lathe or have someone else machine a new groove in both cartridges. In my case I moved the retaining ring 112mm upwards because I needed to lower my forks 112mm. This moves the spring 112mm up...

So I had a little anodising adventure. This is the result: The caliper came out pretty good. Although they have de-anodised the inside (where the pistons seat) but plugged it of before anodising it black. Hopefully that doesn't cause any leakage problems. The disc brake center didn't come...

It's a Honda Benly tank. The bike next to the Aprilia is a Yammie XT500 ;)

I had to use two spacers because the head stem tapers down in the middle. The upper bearing won't have a nice contact patch that way: I don't have the bike at my house currently. But I think they were both around 8mm thick. Thanks :)

It's a Aprilia Pegaso 650 Strada Factory. Same engine as the Yam XT660X so it should be bullet proof :) The Domi is currently looking like this: In comparison with a real Supermoto:

As I obviously didn't finish the Domi before the summer started. I've bought this.. Gotta have something to rip around on. Now off to finishing the Domi!

Been doing a little side project for school with two classmates. We are making a carbon case for camera gear etc. It's nice practise for producing the fenders and fork protectors later on.

How much did it cost you? And what was the process called? pretty interested..
