So, after a good few hours browsing various Honda model discs I think I might've found a workable alternative disc that meets the requirement.
The requirement being I need a disc with a 5mm (approx) offset to allow the use of a bigger caliper and have wheel clearance. So, looking for an...
For my latest project I had in mind a Suzuki GSX-R mid/dark blue & white colour scheme. I had thought to mask up stripes/patterns and spray them in.
Then, I thought about decals, made up in the shape I had in mind and colours, applied to a white painted tank and panels. Found a guy on...
Hi, Looking for help on finding a suitable caliper to mate my Paioli forks with the Honda NSR JC22 wheel/disc set up I hope to run.
As you can see the mounting holes on the forks are a long way away from the disc and I don't have enough experience in front brake calipers to know if a certain...
Oxford DGR was a blast, highest turnout outside of London we're told. Well organised, marshalls directing the convoy and all set out well. Generous primary meeting area, staging/catch up points and a midway break were all good.
Final destination was a pub with a mahoosive car park and extra...
For those still active on here, there's a cracking good event in deepest darkest Buckinghamshire...details in the link.

On a side note, I thought this was last Sunday, to trundled up there on the CBX only to find it wasn't on that day!! DOH...
Using these forks on a project but have no idea what make/model they came off, 36mm single disc leading axle, simple twin bar clamp on top yoke.
This logo is on the lower fork leg.

Any help greatly appreciated, thank you.
Wotcha, hope someone can ease my concerns. I'm fitting NSR125 1999-2002 wheels to my project but to do that I need the bearing to measure 20mm i/d to suit the gs1100 axle spindle I will use on the gs1100 swingarm.
Standard bearings just removed.
My concern is for the small bearing, I'll...

Hi (if anyone is actually reading the UK posts? :/ ) Thought I'd post a quick review of my latest project.
I'm working with what I have and trying to budget hard as I can't really justify another bike, but couldn't resist throwing parts I have or obtain uber cheaply together.
I fancy a...
Hi all, I'm asking for help to identify these forks and swingarm I've bought 'on spec' for beer money.
The seller didn't know what they came off of and the only clue is the Honda decals on both.
The swingarm looks to be a monoshock version
The forks look lightweight and not very wide apart...
Hi guys n gals, Just putting this out there.
I have in mind a new, long term, project. I fancy a 2smoker ding ding engined lightweight tracker stylee street bike with motoxer looks but super moto handling...bit gangly lookin' and fun to ride.
As is usual, this will be an minimalist budget...

I've just spotted a 1994 BMW K1100RS sitting in a front garden looking neglected. Knocked and spoke to the owner's wife who gave me a little bit of background on the bike as well as her thoughts about whether her husband will sell...

Here's a question for the DTT collective:
I like the look of the adjustable, alloy billet race levers for both brake and clutch, the two finger jobbies.
However, I can't find anyone offering them for the CBX550...does anyone know of another Honda model that uses the same levers so I can cross...
Hi, Hoping someone on here might be able to help me please.
I thought I'd try and bleed the front brakeson my CBX550 project today, filled the reservoir, opened one caliper bleed nipple and pumped the lever...nothing. Not much fluid movement save for a small/slight blow back from the transfer...
Amongst other goodies picked up this weekend, I have now used the STAG Wellseal and can confirm it's very good (£12). Sticky dark honey in texture, paint it on carefully, it's runny but finds it's own level to an extent. Used in on the rocker cover rubber gasket and side cover paper gaskets...
Am I over-engineering the seat?
I have it in my mind to have the seat hinged for access and locked down for security (of sorts). So, I ordered a s/s offset hinge to screw to the subframe and underside as well as a hatch lock to hold it down/in place.
I have two rubber locating bungs which...
